30904 : H-TYPE CVT - QUART
Red Line synthetic H-type CVT automatic transmission oil is designed to
provide excellent low-temperature shiftability and improved thermal
stability over petroleum ATFs. Its superior stability compared to
petroleum ATFs also allows for high-temperature operation without
varnishing valves and clutches, which leads to transmission failure. It
is designed for Honda vehicles that utilize a Continuously Variable
Transmission. It is specific to wet-start clutches and is designed for
their proper operation, protection, and lack of shudder. Red Line
recommends a different product, non-slip CVT fluid, for general CVT
applications, including Daihatsu, Nissan, Subaru, and other belt-type
CVT units (excluding chain-type CVTs like Audi).
